Jamshedpur, Sept 19: On Friday, the second day of the grand Agrasen Jayanti celebrations, the Purvi Singhbhum Zila Agarwal Sammelan hosted a retro night themed ‘Khel-Khel Mein’ at Agrasen Bhawan, Sakchi. The event, which began at 5 p.m., featured a variety of fun-filled competitions, including retro dress-up, Damsharaj, hook step, AV round, sound hound, tune trivia and the audience-chosen “X Factor” award.
A special highlight was the retro-themed antakshari contest with four teams participating. Nearly 350 members of the Agarwal community gathered to enjoy the lively evening.
The judging panel comprised Kavita Dhoot, Preeti Meghani and Vandana Pentkota. A large number of women also took part, including Prabha Padia, Namrata Sonthalia, Uma Chetani, Bina Debuka, Rashmi Moonka, Mamta Murarka, Rajdulari Jhajharia, Sangeeta Bhalotia, Manju Kauntia, Anita Agarwal, Nisha Singhal, Parul Chetani, Priyanka Poddar, Neha Agarwal, Shree Chaudhary, Rachna Seheria, Shruti Shah, Mini Shah, Shilpi Palsania, Kavita Agarwal and others.
The colorful event was widely appreciated and was a grand success.
