Jamshedpur: Residents of Govindpur area have met the SSP and demanded arrest the culprit who had allegedly beaten up a woman Ganga Devi on January 9.
The residents have alleged that the accused one Kaushal Singh had beaten up Ganga Devi when she was busy in construction of her house.
The family members of the accused had thrown leftovers into the house of Ganga Devi. When she protested Kaushal Singh reportedly beat up the woman.
Angry local residents informed the SSP that the Govindpur Police instead of taking action against the culprit registered a case against the victim Ganga Devi.
