Jamshedpur, April 20: The newly renovated Pediatric Ward at Tata Main Hospital (TMH) was inaugurated on Monday, April 20 by Mrs. Ruchi Narendran and R Ravi Prasad, President, Tata Workers Union. They were welcomed by Lt Gen (Retd) Dr G Ramdas, General Manager, Medical Services, Tata Main Hospital.

Central Oxygen and suction facilities have been made for each bed to reduce the need to shift any child patient to Treatment Room in serious cases or in any emergency.

The parallel arrangement of the renovated ward with new fowler beds would help in better patient monitoring and management. The installed curtains would provide privacy for lactating mothers and also facilitate isolation of patients to minimize spreading of infection.

The renovated SIL (Seriously Ill Listed) room and the adjacent nursing station were also seen and appreciated.

Also present on the occasion was Bhagwan Singh, Vice President, Tata Workers Union, Senior doctors, officials and staff of the Hospital.
