Jamshedpur: Members of Red Cross helped the people residing in low-lying areas of the city during the heavy rains.
The sub divisional officer Prem Ranjan informed the Red Cross members about the flash flood affecting hundreds of houses in the low-lying areas of Mango, Bagbera, Kadma and Sonari.
Many other areas were also affected in the flash flood aftermath. The Red Cross members evacuated many distressed houses and saved many people from drowning. They reached many localities and helped the people by handing them food packets and other necessaries.
