Jamshedpur: The year 2013 turned out to be a year of achievements for the Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum chapter. Many health camps, blood donation camps and other initiatives were organized by the outfit. A total of 6346 units of blood were collected through 48 blood camps round the year. As many as 43 free eye camps were organized and surgeries were performed on 3143 cataract patients. Many other camps were organized by the Red Cross. Many training camps were also held by the Red Cross.
