Recruitment drive to address doctor shortage in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 23: To address the critical shortage of doctors in the district, Civil Surgeon Dr. Jujhar Manjhi has initiated a recruitment process. The district health department has announced vacancies for specialists in medicine, gynecology, ophthalmology, and dermatology. These positions will be filled through walk-in interviews scheduled to be held at the Civil Surgeon Office Auditorium on July 1 at 2 pm.

The recruitment is aimed at bolstering medical services at the district’s polyclinics. Candidates up to the age of 70 years are eligible to apply. Selected doctors will receive an honorarium of Rs. 3500 per day for their services. Dr. Jujhar Manjhi emphasized that continuous recruitment efforts are necessary to ensure adequate healthcare provision across the district.
