CM directs for employment to locals during presentation

Ranchi, April 26: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that there is a plan to start the re-construction work of Urban Haat Ranchi. The re-construction master plan has been prepared by the Ranchi Municipal Corporation for this purpose.

The construction work of the Urban Haat started on August 30, 2016, but due to some reasons, the work was stopped for the last 5 years.

The chief minister was apprised that an amount of Rs 10 crores has already been spent on the construction of Urban Haat Ranchi. Under the new master plan, preparations are being made to make Urban Haat Ranchi on the lines of Dilli Haat.

During his meeting with the officials from the Ranchi Municipal Corporation on Tuesday, the chief minister had directed that full care should be taken to provide maximum employment to various artisans including regional handicrafts of the state at Urban Haat Ranchi.

The CM also provided important suggestions and guidelines to the officials of RMC regarding the construction work. He said that the construction work should be completed within a stipulated time frame.

The chief minister said that the Ranchi Urban Haat will be built on the lines of Dilli Haat. The PPT presentation of the re-construction master plan of Ranchi Urban Haat, which has been closed for the last five years, was presented before CM Hemant Soren by the Ranchi Municipal Corporation in the Jharkhand Ministry. Now the chances of it being made have increased a lot. With its formation, where regional artisans will get a platform, employment opportunities will also increase.

Informing the Chief Minister Hemant Soren through PPT presentation by Ranchi Municipal Corporation, it was told that its construction had started on August 30, 2016, but due to some reason the construction work was stopped for the last five years. According to the instructions of the present government, there is a plan to start the re-construction work of Ranchi Urban Haat. In this regard, the Re-Construction Master Plan of Urban Haat has been prepared by the Ranchi Municipal Corporation.
