Jamshedpur : REC was conferred the Gold Medal for Excellence in presentation of the theme � Women Empowerment at the concluding ceremony of IITF 2014.
Rajeev Sharma , CMD, REC received the award from Dr. Mahesh Sharma Minister of State of Culture and Tourism (Independent Charge) & Civil Aviation.
From REC the award ceremony was attended by A K Agarwal, Director (Finance), Vinod Behari, Executive Director (HR/CC) and the officers from the Corporate Communications vertical.
The event was attended by guests from various countries, heads of state and central PSUs and other distinguished dignitaries.
RECs pavilion was an attempt to showcase its commitment towards Women Empowerment through its business of financing power projects, CSR and illuminating lives of millions from rural to urban population.
