Seraikela, Feb 23: The Reserve Bank of India, Ranchi Regional Office organized a Police Sensitization Program for police officials of Seraikela region on Friday. Led by RBI Regional Director Shri Prem Ranjan Prasad Singh, the program saw the participation of Dr. Bimal Kumar, Superintendent of Police, Seraikela, Deputy Superintendent of Police, and 40 police station in-charges.
The primary objective of the program was to raise awareness among district police officers regarding unauthorized deposits by unincorporated units, financial frauds, their modus operandi, and relevant legal provisions. The discussion also encompassed the BUDS Act 2019, along with other pertinent information and enabling provisions. Furthermore, the complaint redressal mechanism of the Reserve Bank of India, including the Integrated Lokpal Scheme and Sachet Portal, was elaborated upon.
Representatives from the Reserve Bank of India, including Arvind Ekka, Assistant General Manager, Rashmi Priya, Manager, and Kumud Kumar, Assistant Manager, along with the Regional Director for Jharkhand, participated in the program.
