Ravi Mishra adds another feather to the cap of Jamshedpur�s glory

Jamshedpur, Nov 13: Jamshedpur�s popular theatre activist, Ravi Kant Mishra has been awarded the prestigious Mohan Rakesh Samman � 2019-�20 for scripting his play, �Anth se Arambh Tak.� This award is presented by Sangit Kala Academy, New Delhi to promising theatre persons with all round abilities in the realm of stage presentations. Ravi received this honour from the president of Sangit Natak Academy, Shekhar Sen at a function held in the national capital on Monday, November 11 amidst a galaxy to of theatre connoisseurs and upcoming enthusiasts in this medium of expression. Ravi�s play, �Anth se Arambh Tak� was staged on the occasion which he himself directed and acted in.

Ravi Kant Mishra takes his theatre seriously. He is reputed for training the younger generation in the intricacies of theatre from the grassroots level and moulds them into hopefuls to take on the baton from the thespians of this performing art form. He concentrates mostly on rural children.
