Saraikela, Sept 30: The state president of International Human Rights Association, Pawan Kavi has written to the Block Supply Officer pointing out that card holders in Saraikela town had not received their ration for the month of August. He pointed out that in addition to monthly quota of ration supplies all beneficiaries were to be provided food grains under Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojna that was introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic period. Kavi stated in his letter that under the Yojna that the quota for the month of July was distributed along with that of August in August in Saraikela Block. But hin his letter to the Block supply Officer that the state government�s scheme of rice @ Re 1 per kilo for the month of Agust had not been delivered to the beneficiaries till date. The International Human Rights state president demanded that the matter be probed and the ration quota for the month of August be disbursed to card holders of Saraikela immediately.
