Jamshedpur: The Rankini Mandir in Kadma observed the 55th Pratishtha Divas today with religious fervor. The idol of Goddess Kali, worshipped here as Ma Rankini was established in this Temple in 1964 and taking into account this date, the Pratishtha (foundation) Divas is observed as an annual event by the Mandir committee and devotees.
The rituals commence with Mahasnan, Panchamrit Snan, Shringar (putting ornaments on the Deity) and dressing Her with new attire.
The worship started after this. After the Mother�s Puja, prasad or Bhog was distributed among the poor and needy devotees who were later given clothes and cash.
Giving the information, Rankini Mandir committee president Dilip Das and general secretary Janardan Pandey stated that all senior and junior members played active roles in the performing of Puja and Bhog distribution to the milling devotees.
