Jamshedpur, Sept 9: The ground breaking ceremony for the construction of Kadma Rankini Mandir Durga Puja pandal was performed today in accordance with religious rituals. Members of the puja committee present on the occasion stated that this year too, the Rankini Mandir Durga Puja pandal would be a major centre of attraction. Highly skilled craftsmen and master artists would construct this attractively designed pandal. The Durga Puja committee vice president G Govind said that exquisite light patterns would adorn the pandal. CCTVs would be placed at vital positions to keep tabs on crowds visiting the pandal. �We shall have adequate security arrangements in place. Apart from the help to be availed from Kadma police station, we shall also engage private security personnel to ensure order and peace during the festival in and around our pandal. Firefighting equipment will also be kept at vantage points,� Govind informed.
Rankini Mandir Durga Puja committee members present on the occasion included Ramesh Kumar, AR Dey (Bapi), Rajendra Jaiswal, Harbhajan Singh, Dipak Biswas, Narendra Kumar, RMP Singh and PK Singh.
