Jamshedpur, Sept 9: The ground breaking ceremony for the construction of Durga Puja Pandal in Vijaya Green Earth Colony at Dimna Road was performed by Colony resident Ramesh Chandra Tiwary in the traditional way. Colony women also participated in the Bhumi Pujan ceremony. Among those present on the occasion were Puja committee convener Dr Nagendra Singh, Vijaya Green Earth Flat Welfare Association general secretary Gopal Chandra Tiwary including other residents Sanjiv Ranjan, SN Jha, Jai Prakash Rai, Gajendra Kumar Tiwary, NS Suman, Mintu Banerjee, DK Singh, CK Dutta, BK Singh, Ravindra Thakur, Ravi Munda, KN Prasad and others. A community feast was organized on the occasion.
