Jamshedpur, Dec. 14: Sri Rani Sati Seva Sangh will organise its first Sharad Utsav on Dec 20 at the ram mandir complex in Bistupur.
The one-day religious event which would start at 9 am will boast of mangal paath, henna celebration and sindhara, for which the members of the Sangh launched door to door campaign for the success of the program.
During the campaign, members of the sangh appealed for maximum participation and gave detailed information about the upcoming program.
The campaign will continue till December 19 the eve of the religious program. A member of the organizing committee said, the women participating in the mangal path will be provided with religious items by the Sangh at the venue of the program. A total of 1500 women from the city and nearby locations will participate in the mangal path.
The women will have to present access card in order to participate in the path. Artists from Kolaghat in West Bengal will decorate the 2400 Sq.ft stage along with flower decoration team. For the devotees 16000 sq. ft pandal will be built.
During the first part of the program, mehndi of Dadi and Sindhara will be held from 9.30 am to 11.30 am. Mangal path will start from 1 pm were singer Ujjwal from Nagpur will present the path.
At the religious function more than 300 devotees of Dadi will arrive in the city form West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Purulia, Jharkhand, Burdwan, Rairangpur, Bahalda, Baripada, Chaibasa, Chakradharpur, Joda, Barbil, Noamundi, Ranchi, Gaya and Sasaram.
