Rani Sati Divya Jyot arrives in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, March 28: Thousands of devotees of Rani Sati also known as Dadiji greeted the deity�s Divya Jyot as it arrived in front of the District Red Cross Society Building at 3:30 pm from Ghatshila via Chaibasa.

Rani Sati Seva Sangh, Bistupur organized the event in association with Rani Sati Satsang Samiti, Jugsalai. The Divya Jyot was received in front of the District Red Cross Society Building and taken in a huge procession to Dhalbhum Club Ground near Agrasen Bhawan in Sakchi in a huge procession that included a beautifully decorated horse-drawn carriage, attractive floats, exciting Chhou Dance and live performance of devotional songs in glorification of Dadiji by reputed bhajan singer from Chakradharpur Dharmendra Kejriwal.

Worship had commenced at the puja site on Dhalbhum Club grounds at 9:30 am where a beautifully decorated throne for Rani Sati. The Mangal Path was recited by famous bhajan singer from Jaipur Manju Sharma. Being of special significance to women, the Mangal Path session that continued till 2 pm had the attendance of more than 700 devotees. Manju Sharma also rendered popular devotional songs that captivated the devotees present on the occasion. Prasad was distributed in the form of lunch at the end of the morning session.

Before the commencement of the religious session, tributes were paid to the Pulwama martyrs with Manju Sharma singing the all-time popular �Aye mere watan ke logon�� at that juncture.

The evening session was allotted as Bhajan Sandhya. Bhajan Samrat from Kolkata Sanjay Sharma and Navin along with Dharmendra Kejriwal filled the Dhalbhum Club Puja Ground with devotional atmosphere where devotees went into a trance.

The huge success of the program was ensured by the team comprising Raj Kumar Sanghi, Naresh Kauntia, Raju Dodrajka, Manoj Agrawal, Suresh Lodha, Mahendra Kauntia, Uma Lodha, Ram Ratan Kauntia, Kailash Saraiwala, Shyam Khandelwal, Shanti Kauntia, Krishna Sanghi, Premlata Agrawal, Manju Kauntia, Mamata Garhwal, Rita Khandelwal, Om Prakash Ringasia, Sanwarmal Agrawal, Arun Gupta and all Dadiji devotees of Rani Sati Seva Sangh Jamshedpur.
