Jamshedpur: Bhayli Mahila Mandal, Sonari organised Teej and Singhara Utsav of Rani Sati Dadi at Rajasthan Bhawan in Sonari with fervour on Tuesday.
108 women in traditional Rajasthani attire recited the mangal path of Dadi and performed the rituals. Local singer Mahabir Agarwal alias Munna began bhajan presentation with Ganesh Vandana. Several bhajans were presented where women danced.
Earlier, Anita-Suresh Agarwal lighted the jyot at the Dadi’s darbar and performed the rituals.
Rani Sati Dadi’s attractive darbar was decorated with flowers. The main attraction of the religious programme was Jhula darbar, akhand jyot, gajra utsav floats, Savamani, chappan bhog and singhara dishes. The religious programme began at 3 pm and continued till 10 pm.
The programme ended with aarti and prasad distribution among the devotees. More than 250 women participated in the event.
