Jamshedpur, Jan 15: A Rangoli competition was organized among the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) beneficiaries under Mango Municipal Corporation (MMC) command area following directives of the Urban Development and Housing Department. Led by MMC Executive Officer Deepak Sahay, a Rangoli competition was organized as a part of the national programme, ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ among the beneficiaries of PMAY Urban, on Saturday.
Twenty beneficiaries of the project made Rangoli designs at their homes in Dimna Basti and surrounding areas. MMC Executive Officer, Dipak Sahay visited the homes of the participants and distributed gifts to them while encouraging them to pursue and sharpen their Rangoli making talents. The top three award winners were Tapan Kumbhakar, Sumitra Devi and Shiv Shankar Kumbhakar respectively.
Nodal Officer Dineshwar Yadav, City Managers Jitendra Kumar, Rahul Kumar, Nishant Kumar Aparajita, Srinivas of CLTC were present on the occasion.
