
Ranchi, Oct 12: Ranchi’s JSCA International Cricket Stadium is all set to host India and South Africa in a test match from October 19. This will be the last test match of the Freedom Trophy in the Gandhi-Mandela series. Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) has started preparation for the test match as the teams will reach the Jharkhand capital on October 15. Team Kohli and Proteas are scheduled to practice on October 16, informed JSCA vice-president Ajay Nath Shahdeo.
He said that the ticket price ranges from Rs 250 to Rs 2000 per day which will be sold from four counters at West Gate of the JSCA Stadium.
The charge for Wing A (Upper Tier) is Rs 250 and (Lower Tier) is Rs 400.
For Wing B (Upper Tier) charge is Rs 300 and (Lower) Rs 500.
For Wing C (Upper Tier) Rs 250 and (Lower) Rs 400 while Wing D (Lower Tier) Rs 500 and for Spice Box Rs 400.
For Amitabh Choudhary Pavilion (Premium Terrace) the cost of the ticket is Rs 700, for President’s Enclosure Rs 2,000 and Hospitality Box Rs 1500.
For MS Dhoni Pavilion Donors� Enclosure the cost of the ticket is Rs 600 and for Corporate Salon Rs 1500.
All ticket cost are on per day basis.
The 39,000 capacity JSCA stadium will be hosting its second test match. The first test match was held from 16-20 March, 2017 between India and Australia which ended in a draw. The stadium has also hosted five One Day and two T20 internationals.
JSCA vice-president Ajay Nath Shahdeo said that passes would be distributed for Indian Army, paramilitary and Jharkhand police personnel. Cricket Clubs and Cricket Academies will be invited for the match.
