Ranchi jeweller Rajesh Pal cremated, Banna Gupta assures speedy investigation

Ranchi, June 8: Jeweler Rajesh Pal, proprietor of Arvind Jewelers, was cremated at Harmu Dham on Wednesday. Health Minister Banna Gupta was also present on the occasion. He paid tribute to the deceased and offered condolences to his family members.

Pal was shot dead by armed dacoits when he was in his shop. His murder has sent shockwaves across the business community in the state Capital.

Meanwhile, Gupta assured to raise the law and order issue in the Cabinet meeting on 16^th June. He called the Jharkhand DGP over phone and directed him to take prompt action against the culprits. He also directed the SSP Ranchi to take effective crime control measures and hold a crime meeting to review the law and order situation of the city. He said he would speak to the Chief Minister to discuss ways to improve the law and order machinery.
