Ramrekha Dham to be developed as tourist spot: CM

Ranchi, April 30: Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that Ramrekha Dham will be developed as tourist spot and tourists from all over the world will be attracted towards it.

Rope way will be approved for convenience. The CM said it while inaugurating Ramrekha Festival. The CM handed over cheque of Rs. 1 lakh each to the girls who refused to marry so that they can pursue their studies and felicitated the family members of Veer Chakra winner John Brito Kido.

The CM said that peace is essential for the development of religious places. Praising the district administration in controlling crimes in Simdega, the CM said that the misguided youths should surrender and join the mainstream.

Addressing the people of Ramrekha Dham, the CM said that the place is also famous for its social inclination. He said that religion plays an important role in running human life. It gives energy and disciplines the life. He said that the way of practice may vary but it teaches us to live with fellow feeling.

Appealing the people to save water, he said that it should be conserved. The govt. has planned to construct 1 lakh dovas, 2000 ponds and rejuvenate 50,000 ponds through MGNREGA. The govt. targets to save every drop of rain water by 2017. Electricity will be supplied to every home by 2018.

Estimate of Rs. 48 crore was presented by district administration to the CM for beautification of Ram Rekha Dham.
Local MLA Bimla Pradhan, Gumla MLA Shiv Shankar Oraon, DIG, DC, SP and members of Rekha Dham management committee were present on this occasion.
