Ramgarh: Police have busted the case of fatal attack on CCL worker Ramji Munda by shooting in Matkama village of Bhadaninagar OP area under Patratu block of Ramgarh on November 16. CCL worker Ramji’s son had conspired to murder his father. However, Ramji Munda is safe even after being shot in the incident.
Giving information about the case in the press conference, Patratu SDPO Dr. Virendra Chaudhary said that Ramji Munda’s elder son Amit Kumar Munda had conspired to murder his father to get the land and father’s job.
For this, he had also given Supari worth Rs 4 lakh to the shooters through cheque. The shooters had shot at Ramji Munda near his house. The bullet had hit Ramji Munda in the shoulder. At present, Ramji Munda is out of danger. He is undergoing treatment at Samford Hospital in Ranchi.
SDPO said that in the initial investigation, family reasons behind the incident had come to light. Only after this Amit Munda was taken into custody and interrogated. Amit’s son has accepted his involvement in the incident. Amit has also given information about both the shooters. Soon both the shooters will be arrested.
A case has been registered and Amit has been sent to judicial custody. Besides, Amit’s mobile has also been confiscated. Apart from SDPO, police station incharges of Bhadaninagar, Bhurkunda, Basal, Patratu and Barkakana were present in the press conference.
