Rally, nukkad-natak mark civic awareness week at ADLS

Jamshedpur, Sep 23: Zimmedaar Nagrik Zimmedaar Shaher campaign is now catching up and has started creating a movement in town. As a result of this, ADSL Sunshine School had launched a Week Long programme dedicated to this campaign.

Ritu Raj Sinha, GM (BD&CD), JUSCO had launched the programme on 16 September 2013.

Today it was the Closing of the programme where AP Singh, DGM (CR&CC) Flagged-Off the Rally on awareness at ADLS Sunshine School. Present during the function were Indarani Singh, Principal, ADLS Sunshine School, Rajesh Rajan, Head (CC&Billing), JUSCO, teachers and staffs of ADLS Sunshine School.

The Week Long programme includes Quiz Contest on 17 September, Nukkad-Natak on 18 September, Screening of Campaign Film on 19 September, Rally by students on 23 September. The entire programme was coordinated by the Principal and Teachers� of ADLS Sunshine School and was a great success.

During the Rally more than 200 students from Senior Sections of the School went around Sakchi area covering areas near the school, market and residential areas in Sakchi with banners and placards on awareness.

Other schools have come forward to organize similar initiatives in their respective schools. Even during the Durga Puja celebrations many Puja Committees have agreed to hold awareness sessions, nukkad-natak, use of non-degradable bags for Bhog�s and other related activities to create awareness amongst puja revelers.
