Rally held to protest violence against Bengali speakers

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Bangbhashi Samanvaya Samiti organized a meeting cum rally at Sakchi roundabout to protest violence against Bengali speaking people in Assam.
The outfit president Bikash Mukherjee said he was completely against the anti-Bengali policy of the Assam government. He said the government was wreaking havoc on the people in the name of National Register of Citizens. He said the killings of Bengali speaking people in the state should be probed by the government.

Another speaker Sandeep Sinha Choudhary said the government of Assam should stop tormenting Bengali speaking residents and should also ensure that their rights are not violated.

The outfit members took out a rally in Sakchi. Those present included Nepal Das, Purbi Ghosh, Jayanto Dey, Pranab Majumdar, Aseem Dey, Chandan Duta, Babulal Chakrabarty, Ayan Mukherjee and Purbi Dutta.
