Jamshedpur, Aug. 16: Jharkhand State Youth Congress committee secretary Rakesh Sahu unfurled the tricolour at Bhuiyadih Gwala Busti, Birsanagar Zone No. 6 and Jugsalai Goushala Chowk on the occasion of 71st Independence Day on August 15.
Later, addressing the gathering, Sahu urged the citizens to follow the footsteps of the martyrs who laid down their life fighting for the country.
Everyone should work for the unity of the nation and help make India a developed country, added Rakesh Sahu. Present on the occasion were Nalini Sinha, Aashish Mukhi, Sonu Singh, Kamlesh Sao, Rafiur Rehman, Md, Naushad, Arun Mukhi and others.
