IAS Rajiv Ranjan Assumes Charge as East Singhbhum DC

Jamshedpur: Rajiv Ranjan, a 2013-batch IAS officer, officially took charge as the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of East Singhbhum on Saturday.

Outgoing Deputy Commissioner Karn Satyarthi formally handed over the responsibilities and welcomed Ranjan with a bouquet, wishing him a successful tenure. District department officials also attended the ceremony to greet the new administrator.

During the handover, Satyarthi thanked district officials, employees, the media, and citizens for their cooperation. He noted that their collective support allowed the effective implementation of various development schemes during his time in office. Satyarthi expressed confidence that the district would gain new momentum under Ranjan’s leadership.

Upon assuming office, Rajiv Ranjan pledged to prioritize the ground-level implementation of government welfare schemes. He emphasized his commitment to improving service delivery across all sectors to ensure benefits reach every citizen.

“With the cooperation of all stakeholders, the district administration will give a new direction and pace to development works in East Singhbhum,” Ranjan stated while highlighting the importance of collective effort.
