Jamshedpur: Members of the OBC wing of District Congress Committee celebrated the 74th birth anniversary of the former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi at Shaheed Chowk, Sakchi, on Sunday.
They distributed study material and stationery among 100 poor students of Birsanagar, Bagunhatu and Burmamines Busti on the occasion.
Addressing party workers, the OBC wing chairman Surendra Sharma said the party needed to follow in the footsteps of the former PM.
Among others present during the programme included Parvinder Singh, Cinderella Balmuchu, Nalini Sinha, Rakesh Sahu, Shafiur Rehman, Ashish Mukhi and Rohit Sharma.
