Chaibasa, August 20: District congress unit of Chaibasa organized a rally on the anniversary of Bharat Ratna and former prime minister Rajiv Gandhi at Chaibasa town on Saturday.
The congress people at first paid floral tribute to the portrait of Rajiv Gandhi. Thereafter a rally was taken out by the congress workers which traversed through various part of town.
Addressing the gathering, district president Sunny Sinku said that Rajiv Gandhi took the initiative to introduce rights to fight election for the youth aged 21 years.
The Sadhavana Yatra started from congress bhavan in Chaibasa were a large number of congress party activists participated.
