Rajasthani Holi Mela �Albela Fagun� on March 5 in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Feb. 22:  Jharkhand State Marwadi Sammelan will organize �Albela Fagun� at the Dhalbhum Club in Sakchi on March 5. The function will showcase the traditional and cultural fronts of a rich Rajasthani heritage.

Artistes from Rajasthan will present dance numbers that are reflections of culture that has been preserved through ages by generations of performing artistes. The dances are expected to spell an aura of excitement for all ages and classes. �Albela Fagun� will commence from 5 pm on March 5.

Program convener Mamata Murarka and assistant convener Sangita (Anu) Mittal, vide a joint press release informed that members will present tableaus by wearing traditional dresses of various states. Colourful bangles and Henna designs will be further points of attraction. Tattoo paintings with the various colours of Holi will be available in the Mela campus. The game zone will have attractive items of interest for all age groups.

Also on the agenda are surprise gifts and a lucky draw. The foodies too will get a chance to tickle their taste buds with Rajasthani, North and South Indian traditional delicacies.
