Chakradharpur, Dec 24: Construction work on the much-awaited underpass near the closed railway gate in Chakradharpur has commenced, bringing relief to local residents. The project is progressing rapidly, with the engineering team led by DRM Arun J. Rathore overseeing operations.
The railway administration has blocked the Mumbai-Howrah main route for six hours to facilitate the construction. This underpass is being built with financial support from the DMFT fund, provided by the state government. Local residents, happy with the progress, expressed their gratitude for the government’s intervention.
“The underpass was a long-pending demand. We are glad to see the work finally starting,” said a local resident.
