Railway Staff saves passenger from falling under Steel Express at Tatanagar Station

Jamshedpur, Dec 28: Rakesh Kumar Pandey, Sr. CC/TC, Kharagpur Division, displayed exceptional bravery during his duty aboard train no. 12814, Steel Express, on 28th December 2024. At approximately 06:15 hrs, as the train was leaving Tatanagar station, a passenger attempting to board lost his balance and fell into the gap between the train and the platform.

Without hesitation, Rakesh Kumar Pandey sprang into action, pulling the passenger to safety and preventing a potential tragedy. Along with Vinay Kumar Chaudhary, TTI/HWH(S)/Kharagpur Division, they provided immediate first aid to the passenger.

The swift and courageous actions of both railway staff members saved a precious life, showcasing their dedication to passenger safety and comfort.
