Jamshedpur: The general ticket centre of Tatanagar station wore a chaotic look on Saturday following a spat between two railway employees. One of the employees, a booking staff, Manoj Kumar, fell out violently with another railway staff, BR Manjhi. The incident took place around 4.30 am. As a result of the fight, the two employees were badly injured. They were taken to the Tatanagar Railway Hospital by their colleagues.
Many passengers had to wait for a long time to get their tickets. The Railway DCM Prashant Kumar and CI Shankar Jha went to the hospital to take stock of the situation. They also inquired about the incident from other employees. Written explanation has been sought from the two employees. Departmental action is likely to be taken against the two for creating ruckus on duty at the railway station precincts.
