Jamshedpur, Nov 16: Union Railway Minister Ashvini Vaishnav addressed a virtual meeting with all general managers (GMs), divisional railway managers (DRMs) and Railway union functionaries on Wednesday. The meeting started at 5 pm.
Addressing the meeting, the Minister spoke about the action plan of Railway Board on the cadre structure and promotion of railway employees. Several demands were put forth before the Railway minister.
Railway Men’s Congress general secretary Shashi Mishra thanked the Railway Minister for fulfilling the demand of Railway employees for enhanced grade pay. He said 3500 senior Railway supervisors would get grade pay of Rs 4200, Rs 4600 and Rs 5400.
