Jamshedpur, May 31: A railway employee Pradhan Purty (50) deputed in the MCM post at railway department in Dongaposi Yard under Jagannathpur GRP of South Eastern Railway, Chakradharpur division and had gone for morning walk had died after coming under a train near Dongaposi railway yard on Monday morning.
The body with head and torso separated was found lying on the track of Dongaposi Railway Yard line number 9 near the bridge. The Jagannathpur GRP reached the spot and sent the body for post mortem to Chaibasa Sadar Hospital. Pradhan Purty a native of Purtidighiya but was staying in railway quarters at Dongaposi.
Dongaposi OC claims it priima facie to be a case of suicide but police is investigating into the case.
Chaibasa, May 31: Jharkhand Vidhan Sabha chairman has made Chaibasa MLA Dipak Birua as chairperson of assembly estimate committee and extended the committee tenure for another year.
The committee will also have MLAs Baidyanath Ram, Biranchi Narayan Das, Amba Prasad and Lambodar Mahato.
