Jamshedpur: Thirty seven -year-old Amit Kant, senior section engineer working in the Chakradharpur division of South-Eastern Railway, died after being hit by a freight train.
The incident took place at the same place where a wild male elephant died due to the grip of a train on Wednesday night at half past nine. It is being told that the train pole number 378/12 near which the elephant was killed on Wednesday night, Amit Kant was fixing the electric wires. At the same time, a freight train going upstream hit.
