Ramgarh, Feb 5: On Monday, ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ started from Sidhu Kanu Maidan in Ramgarh district. Rahul Gandhi reached Gandhi Chowk from Sidhu Kanu Maidan via Chatti Bazaar in his open jeep. He paid tributes to Bapu and proceeded towards his destination. On the way, Rahul saw the exhibition organized by Jawahar Bal Manch and stopped his convoy. Children welcomed Rahul Gandhi by giving him rose flowers. He later made the children sit in his jeep and had selfies taken. Rahul interacted with the children and joked and chatted with them. The children too shouted slogans in support of Rahul Gandhi. Standing on his car, Rahul Gandhi greeted the common people along with the supporters and Congress workers present there. The convoy moved ahead via Subhash Chowk, Block Chowk of Ramgarh and reached the martyrdom site of Shahid Sheikh Bhikhari and Tikait Umrao Singh. Here Rahul Gandhi paid tribute to both the freedom fighters.

In the course of his Nyay Yatra along Chuttupalu Ghati, Rahul Gandhi spotted a young man carrying coal on a bicycle. He stopped the convoy and pushed the coal laden bicycle himself. He also also talked to the young laborer. Rahul said that the income of these youth, who walk 30-40 kilometers daily carrying 200 kg weight, was nominal. “Without walking with them, without feeling their burden, their problems can never be felt or understood. If the life of these young workers slows down, then understand that the wheel of building India will also stop,” Rahul observed.
Tight security arrangements were made for Rahul’s visit. Many leaders and workers including Jharkhand Congress state in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, State President Rajesh Thakur, State Working President Shahzada Anwar, State Secretary Shantanu Mishra, State General Secretary Baljit Bedi, District President Munna Paswan, Mamta Devi participated in the Nyaya Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi.
A lot of excitement and enthusiasm were observed among the supporters in Ramgarh city during Rahul’s visit. Thousands of people had gathered on the road since morning. People were seen on the streets to get a glimpse of Rahul Gandhi.
