Ranchi : On the day one Chief Minister Raghuvar Das made it clear to the top officials of the administration that he meant serious concern for good governance in the state.
Chief Minister Raghubar Das today held a top level meetingin his office at Project Bhawan, with the chief secretary and secretaries of different departments namely, Home, Town Development, Mining, Health and Human resources.
In the meeting he made it clear to the officials that it was the prime responsibility of the Government to render good and transparent governance.
The Chief Minister reviewed the working of on-going projects and instructed them for thefuture development plans.
He said that all affective measures should be taken to ensure proper law and order so that people can live in a fearless atmosphere and the state can lead to a new direction of development.
All the vacant positions of teachers should be appointed. Immediate stepsshould be taken for the appointments;he directed the secretary of education department under the human resources department.
He deliberated with the officials for starting super speciality hospitals in Daltangung, Hazaribagh and Dumka. He said that the hospitals should be made on the lines of AIMS so that people of Jharkhand can get proper medical facilities within the state and they do not have to go elsewhere.
Chief Secretary directs administrative tops for efficient performance On the directions of Chief Minister Raghubar Das , Chief Secretary SajalChakarborty through video conferencing gave directives regarding their official duties to all the commissioners , deputy commissioners, police superintendents and senior officials of different government departments.
The chief secretary made it clear that there should be no causalities because of the severe cold, weather be it at cities or villages. Adequate arrangements should be made for blankets and for bonfire so that the needy can be provided relief from the severity of cold.
He said that funds will not be a problem for the relief work and if any district is facingfund crunch, should immediately inform the disaster management department from where the funds will released at once.
The chief secretary further directed that ample security, medical arrangments should be made at all places like picnic spots, parks, water falls, Dams, where the people are expected to gather to celebrate the New Year.
He said that proper watch should be kept at places where boating takes place.It should be ensured that no one goes for boating without life jackets and experiencedwaterdivers should be made available beforehand at such spots..Exceptional caution should be taken to see that no indecent incident happen with women.
Chief Secretary directed the police officials to show their presence and effectiveness to the people. It is necessary to maintain a better understanding with the people.
They should meet the people every Tuesday and Friday to solve problems and disputes. Police IG Rajiv Kumar asked the officials to be alert and active for maintaining security and law and order in the state.
