Jamshedpur, Feb. 3: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and elder son of Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejaswi Yadav arrived in Jamshedpur on Wednesday to be a part of Varun Aarons wedding on Thursday.

Talking to the media persons at a city hotel today, Yadav lambasted the Raghubar government saying, BJP-led Jharkhand government has failed in every front.

The results of the recently held by-polls for the Lohardaga Lok Sabha constituency have proved that people do not have any faith on the current government any more.

Claiming that his party Rashtriya Janta Dal (RJD) will perform better in Jharkhand, Yadav said, Raghubar government is incompetent in dealing with the rising crime and I get sad when I hear about the increasing crime graph in the state and Jamshedpur. Lack of seriousness and BJPs internal strife has stopped the development work in the state, he said.

Yadav said the Nitish Kumar-led Grand Alliance government in Bihar is marching on the path of development under “Bihar Vikas Mission to ensure all-round development in the next five years. “We will involve professionals, experts, retired IAS and IPS officers and others to achieve the target,” he said.

Refuting allegations of ‘jungle raj’ prevailing in Bihar, Yadav said they were “baseless and are a negative campaign by the BJP and its allies.”

“There were some incidents in the state due to personal or family reasons, but we have arrested the accused,” he said.

“But, what is happening in Jharkhand? A rape victim is being raped in the hospital in Jamshedpur and murders are taking place in front of police stations in the state capital,” he alleged.

Senior RJD leader expressed regret on bloomer over experimenting of Maha Gathbandhan in Jharkhand Assembly polls in 2014. In the Bihar Assembly elections we experimented with it and it was accepted by the people of the state, he added.

In reply to a question, the Bihar Deputy Chief Minister praised the work done by Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) in bringing Jharkhand on the international scene and said cricket in Bihar will also be developed on the lines of JSCA. He informed that Moin-ul-Haq Stadium in Patna will be developed and another stadium is also being built in Rajgir.

Talking about Varun, Tejaswi said, We have been old pals and have played several matches together. At the wedding we would meet several old friends.
