Raghubar goes on last-hour canvassing among voters

Jamshedpur, Dec 6: Chief Minister cum Jamshedpur East candidate Raghubar Das went door-to-door in his constituency to seek voters� support on the eve of polling day.

Shortly after arriving from Ranchi, Das directly went on a tour of his constituency. He visited various households where he met voters and interacted with them. He was accorded warm welcome by the residents of different localities.

While going for canvassing, Das also visited temples to seek divine blessings. He also went to Imambara at Mohammedan Line and prayed for his victory. He spent some time near his house in Bhalubasa and met his friends and neighbours. Thereafter, he visited Sitaramdera, Bhuiyandih, Jojobera, Krishna Nagar and Cable Town.

Meanwhile, the Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP workers too, went all-out on the eve of second phase polling in the 13 Assembly constituencies of Kolhan. As per the party strategy, the party workers contacted voters and appealed them to cast their vote in favour of BJP. All booth in-charges, building in-charges and party workers were given instructions in this connection.

Several rounds of meetings were held by senior BJP leaders who included district BJP president Dinesh Kumar, Pawan Agrawal, Sanjeev Singh, Khemlal Choudhary, Chandrashekhar Mishra, Rambabu Tiwary, Shailendra Rai, Bhupendra Singh, Mithilesh Singh Yadav, Kamlesh Singh, Sushanto Panda and Boltu Sarkar.
