Jamshedpur: Thousands of students and youth visited the Radiant Jharkhand 2.0 mega exhibition on its opening day, showing keen interest in career guidance, innovation and government initiatives. The exhibition witnessed heavy footfall at various stalls, with students particularly crowding the ICMR stall to gather information on research, health sciences and career opportunities.
Radiant Jharkhand 2.0 was jointly inaugurated by the guests through the traditional lighting of the lamp and ribbon-cutting ceremony. Dr. Ashok Kumar Jha, Principal of Lal Bahadur Shastri Memorial College, attended the event as the chief guest, while Gopal Krishna, Marketing Head of CSIR–NML, was present as a special guest.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ashok Kumar Jha said that Radiant Jharkhand 2.0 offers something meaningful for every section of society. He said the exhibition provides valuable exposure to youth through stalls related to various career options, while agriculture-related stalls are equally informative for farmers and rural visitors.
Earlier, Chairman of Visual Myths, Vanish Gupta, and Project Director Kinjal Gandhi welcomed the guests by presenting bouquets. Sharing details about the event, they informed that nearly six thousand students visited the exhibition on the very first day. The three-day exhibition will continue till January 31, 2026, at Hotel Ramada, Jamshedpur.
They further stated that the successful organisation of Radiant Jharkhand 2.0 was made possible with the cooperation of Ladies Circle India GMCLC160. Stalls of public sector undertakings and major institutions have been set up at the venue, showcasing the latest innovations, important government schemes and significant developmental achievements. The exhibition is open to the general public free of cost from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Anish Gupta said the objective of organising Radiant Jharkhand 2.0 is to provide a common platform where people of Jharkhand can directly interact with government departments and institutions and obtain first-hand information about welfare schemes, development programmes and opportunities. He added that the exhibition holds special importance for students, as it introduces them to diverse educational pathways, career prospects, skill development initiatives and emerging sectors, thereby empowering the youth and helping them shape their future.
One of the major attractions of the exhibition is the participation of master artisans from Gujarat’s handloom and handicraft sector, who are displaying and selling exquisite handcrafted products reflecting India’s rich cultural heritage.
