Jamshedpur, April 25: The class 11 students were warmly welcomed into the Loyola School with a grand Freshers’ party organised by the class 12 students at Fasy Auditorium on April 25.
Fr Rector, Fr Principal, Fr Treasurer and Administrator, the Vice Principal and Plus Two Coordinator were present at the function which began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a melodious welcome song and a dazzling dance performance. Then followed, a short but meaningful enactment of a typical issue faced by every eleventher.
The ramp walk was the most awaited event as the handsome boys and gorgeous girls literally set the stage on fire.
An age old yet evergreen game Queen of Sheba, had students tripping over each other to please King Solomon and Queen Sheba.
Amidst anticipation, the crowning moment arrived with the announcement of Mr and Ms Fresher, eliciting thunderous applause as R Adhiraj and Naira Alam were crowned with the prestigious titles.
Fr Vinod Fernandes, Principal, in his address, welcomed the eleventhers and motivated them to make the best use of their stay at Loyola.
The day was all about comradeship and solidarity to be established between 12thers and newcomers.
