Jamshedpur: A quiz contest and a poem recitation competition were organized at Tara Public School in Hata under Juri panchayat of Potka on Saturday.
The winners of the contests were felicitated by Urmila Samad, a panchayat committee member.
Addressing the students, Samad said they should participate in such events for their intellectual development. She said the students should study sincerely to achieve success in life.
With today�s event, the school announced summer vacations till 3rd June. The announcement was made by the principal Kamlesh Mishra.
Among others present on the occasion included Babita Tudu, Sanjeev Kumar, Manas Sharma, Hemanti Mahali and Anita Barla.
