‘Push Your Limits’: CAIT Hosts Business Seminar in Jamshedpur to Empower Local Traders

Jamshedpur: A motivational and knowledge-driven business seminar on the theme ‘Push Your Limits’ was organised in Jamshedpur on Friday evening under the joint aegis of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), Laghu Udyog Bharati, and Jamshedpur Distributors Association. The programme was held at the Centre for Excellence, Jamshedpur, to empower MSME entrepreneurs and professionals with practical management tools to deal with day-to-day business challenges.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Suresh Sonthalia, National Joint Secretary, Confederation of All India Traders; Vinod Sharma, President, Laghu Udyog Bharati, Jamshedpur Chapter; Jugal Kishor Maheshwari, President, Jamshedpur Distributors Association, along with Bharat Vasani, Kishor Golchha, and other dignitaries.

Advocate Piyush Choudhary introduced the keynote speaker, Komal C. Mittal, Founder of UNIDIF Consulting. He informed that Mittal holds an MSc degree in International Business from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. Drawing from her professional experience in the UK, she observed that despite strong intelligence and potential, many Indian business owners are unable to achieve desired success due to a lack of systematic management. This realisation inspired her to work towards resolving daily management challenges faced by small traders in India.

In her keynote address, Komal C. Mittal elaborated on key management aspects, including everyday challenges faced by MSME entrepreneurs and professionals, the common habit of neglecting task prioritisation, and how productivity can be enhanced through effective prioritisation techniques. She explained these concepts through a simple practical exercise and discussed the Eisenhower Technique and UNIDIF Consulting’s prioritisation method. Emphasising efficiency and output, she delivered the core message of the session: “Be productive, not just busy.”

A question-and-answer session followed, during which participants interacted directly with the keynote speaker and sought practical solutions to their business concerns. The programme was efficiently conducted by Advocate Piyush Choudhary.

In recognition of her valuable contribution, Komal C. Mittal was presented with a memento by Suresh Sonthalia on behalf of the Confederation of All India Traders. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Kishor Golchha, who expressed gratitude to the speakers, organisers, and all participants for making the event a success.
