Jamshedpur, October 5: Retired army personals on Wednesday burnt effigy of bollywood actors Om Puri and Salman Khan and politicians who termed the surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army as fake.
Under the banner of Purva Sainik Seva Parishad, more than 70 retired army personals along with 50 members of several social organisations also up the ante against Arvind Kejriwal, Digvijay Singh, Sanjay Nirupam and P Chidambaram at Sakchi roundabout on Wednesday evening.
A rally was also taken out by the members headed by general secretary of the Parishad, Varun Kumar which started from Shaheed Chowk in Sakchi and concluded at Sakchi roundabout.
Present on the occasion was Rajdev Singh, Rajiv Ranjan, Utpal Sinha, Ajay Singh, KM Singh, Javed Hassan, Surendra Singh, Govind Rai, Rajesh Pandey, Shatrughan Prasad and others.
