Jamshedpur: Tata Steel UISL Managing Director Rituraj Sinha met Jamshedpur East Assembly MLA Purnima Sahu at her residence in Agrico on Thursday. During the meeting, Sinha congratulated on her historic victory and conveyed his good wishes.
The discussion centered on several pressing issues, including the progress of the Moharda Water Supply Scheme, operational challenges, delays in providing new water connections, and the need for individual electricity connections in all houses in the Cable Area.
MLA Purnima Sahu emphasized her commitment to ensuring a clean, safe, and regular water supply to every household in the Birsanagar area. She pointed out that the densely populated region has been facing persistent water crises, which are now her top priority. Additionally, she stressed the urgency of addressing delays in new water connections and ensuring individual electricity connections for every house in Golmuri’s Cable Area.
Rituraj Sinha assured that Jusco’s team is fully committed to the efficient operation of the Moharda Water Supply Scheme. He also promised to make every effort to improve water supply in Birsanagar. Regarding electricity connections, Sinha acknowledged existing technical issues and provided a detailed explanation of the challenges involved. He assured that Tata Steel UISL would collaborate with the MLA to resolve these problems.
