Jamshedpur, Oct 22: An ATM of Punjab National Bank in Jugsalai was damaged by vandals with the ostensible intent to rob the cash inside the machine. PNB officer Alam Samad put in a complaint in this regard in the Jugsalai police station. The police have registered an FIR in the matter against unknown persons. Police have started scanning CCTV footage installed in the ATM to trace the culprits.
It may be mentioned that a few days prior to the Jugsalai PNB ATM incident, two ATMS in Bagbera were damaged but the police had not been able to make any breakthrough in that incident.
