Jamshedpur: District health department has pulled up its socks to ensure the success of Pulse Polio campaign in East Singhbhum.
The campaign is slated to be held on 3rd February. District Civil Surgeon Dr Maheshwar Prasad convened a meeting to chalk out plans for the vaccination drive. He directed the officials of health, education and social welfare departments to issue letters regarding the upcoming campaign.
He asked the officials concerned to provide publicity material at least 10 days before the vaccination drive. Public address system (PAS) and posters would be used to create mass awareness on polio vaccination, he said.
Dr Prasad said social media should be used for effective publicity.
