Jamshedpur, Feb 4: A public hearing was organized at Golmuri-cum-Jugsalai block office on Tuesday. The MLA of Potka Sanjeev Sardar was also present on this occasion. He reviewed the implementation of various development projects in the block and also sought updates on the works done by police and other departments.
The MLA directed police officials to dispose complaints received at police station level on their own. He further asked the officials of drinking water and sanitation department to ensure urgent repair of all defunct handpumps in the block. He asked them to maintain a register of complaints received by them.
The MLA asked the block education expansion officer (BEEO) to organize block level meetings regularly and run government hospitals through committees. He asked the block officials to adopt primary, middle and high schools to improve the quality of education being imparted to children. He further asked the circle officer to remove encroachment from government land to ensure successful implementation of various development projects.
Those present during the meeting included BDO Malay Kumar, CO Anurag Tiwary and other officials.
