Jamshedpur: A block level party workers� meet was organized in Gamharia by the district BJP on Thursday. The chief guest of the occasion was the state BJP president cum MP Laxman Gilua.
Addressing the gathering, Gilua said the Central and state governments were running a number of welfare projects for the people of the state. There is an urgent need to spread greater mass awareness on the benefits of these schemes, he said.
Speaking on the current situation at the India-Pakistan border, Gilua said Prime Minister Narendra Modi had warned Pakistan against any misadventure. The PM has given a free hand to the armed forces in order to deal strictly with the terrorists and we are proud of our jawans and the PM, he said.
The state BJP president said the people of the country were with the PM and the armed forces.
Among those present on the occasion included district BJP president Uday Singhdeo, Ashok Sarangi and Anant Ram Tudu.
