Jamshedpur, June 8: A demonstration outside Kowali police station in Jamshedpur turned heated as family members and locals demanded action against the culprits responsible for the death of 8-year-old Shivraj Mandal. The incident occurred in the Kowali police station area under Potka block of East Singhbhum district. Following Shivraj’s demise after being hit by a tractor, tension rose as his family sought justice. Despite assurances from police station in-charge Dhananjay Kumar Paswan, who assured that an FIR had been filed and investigations initiated, the family remained adamant, demanding tangible action. According to Shivraj’s father, Vidhan Mandal, neither the tractor involved has been recovered nor any arrest made, fueling their resolve to continue the protest until justice was served. Shivraj was fatally injured while watching the construction work outside his home, when the rear part of a tractor collided with the toilet wall, resulting in his death despite immediate medical attention.
